When my wife Angela was diagnosed with cancer in 2020, she did what she'd always done — she wrote. Honestly, openly, without flinching.
Her CaringBridge posts became a gathering place. Hundreds of people followed along and held our family through something that could have been isolating. It wasn't, because of her, and because of them.
After she died, I compiled those posts into a book. A record of what it looks like when a community refuses to let a family go through something alone.
