Coaching for navigating big change

Maybe you lost a partner, a parent, or the job that used to answer who you are. Maybe you are simply feeling less yourself and couldn't say why.

Maybe you're getting miles in before sunrise because it's the only hour that's still yours. Maybe you've never ridden. Either way, you're still showing up for the people who need you. And it’s exhausting.

How I Coach

You already have what you need. My job isn't to give you answers. It's to ask the questions to help you find your own.

It's your climb, not mine. We stay focused on what's possible, not on what's broken.

I don't do the work for you. I've ridden sections of trail like this before, so I can tell you where to look.

New thinking that doesn't lead to new action isn't coaching, it's just talking.

Why me

I'm not a therapist. I'm someone who's been through big change.

In 2021, my wife Angela died. I had two teenage boys, a $5M organization I'd spent a decade building, and a very convincing performance of holding it together. I wasn't.

I kept leading anyway. Figuring it out slowly with books, therapy, a men's group, time on trails in New England, and with people who knew how to show up. Loss isn't a problem to solve. It's a passage.
